For its part, the Archaeological Awareness Department of Upper Egypt Antiquities District in Luxor Governorate organized a series of Luxor day tours and events to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the discovery of King Tutankhamun's tomb on November 4, 1922, under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the Supreme Council of Antiquities.
